Event Description: Arjun, Rainer, Aniket & Agneya

Agneya Singh is a 19 year old vocalist and saxophonist. He is a former student of KM conservatory and is a trained opera singer by English opera singer Nina Kanter. 
 
Aniket Chaturvedi is a multi-instrumentalist and a graduate in audio engineering who's main instruments are the Hindustani flute and Tenor Saxophone. Aniket has been training in music for 25 years with various masters of different disciplines in music. His influences range from his colleagues, seniors, teachers from the Indian music scene to famous musicians such as Tigran Hamasyan, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pt. Hari Prassad Chaurasia, John Coltrane and Michael Brecker, Chad Lefkowitz- Brown to name a few.

An electronics engineer by education and a fulbright music scholar, Arjun Sagar Gupta has been a performing pianist since the early 2000’s. His influences include pianists such as Erroll Garner and Thomas Waller, but also classical maestros such as Franz Liszt, Vladimir Horowitz and Chopin. Arjun started his musical journey under the tutelage of Mr. John Raphael at the Delhi School of Music who apart from being the director of the institute was undoubtedly one of the best piano teachers in the country. Arjun plays the piano and sings and performs with leading musicians like Pradyumna Singh Manot, Harshit Misra and more.

Often described as the go-to encyclopedia of Jazz by the industry, Arjun over 10 years has also curated more than 1000 shows and been a committee member of Jazz Yatra. As  the founder of The Piano Man Jazz Club in New Delhi, he has been a part of over 600 shows including some of the best musicians from around the world as well as the country. 

Apart from the Piano, Arjun enjoys playing the bass, the drums, sometimes the guitar and regularly plays and also mentors some of the best artists in the city. He spends his Sundays supervising the jazz ensemble and also playing at The Jazz Club. 

As an international and renowned saxophonist, arranger and composer, Rainer Pusch has always been interested in trying out new kinds of music. His spectrum ranges from a jazz background obtained during his studies with George Coleman, Jerry Bergonzi, at the Berklee College of Music (Boston) to various performances with jazz, funk, latin and pop bands over the years. He worked beneath many others with Art Farmer, Horace Parlan, John Betsch, Pony Poindexter. Beside his studies in Carnatic music, taking vocal lessons from S. Rajaram,  director and teacher of the Kalakshetra College of Fine Arts, Chennai, Madurai G. S. Mani and Selva Ganesh, Rainer Pusch %u0301s manifold interests brought him to collaborate repeatedly with many famed Indian musicians such as the Mumbai based guitarists Keith and Karl Peters, with Louis Banks, Dr. Mysore Manjunath, Sanjay Divecha and Ranjit Barot within the scope of Jazz and Indo-Jazz Fusion projects. Further collaborations included recordings with A.R. Rahman and Ramnath Gopalnat as well as many gigs with Ganesh Kumar, Selva Ganesh, Dr. Balamuralikrishnan, and Amit Heri, Manickam Yogeswaran.
