Event Description: The Simple Truth Live

With their roots in a small town in Goa, India, Aveleon, Ashton and Ashley found their passion in the world of music and tunes at a very young age. Jamming together since middle school, they set their foot into the professional world over 25 years ago. They have a multifarious approach to music and a collective expertise in several genres such as Funk, Classic Rock, Jazz, Pop Rock and Retro amongst many. Their music is inspired by artists like Bryan Adams, Queen, Stevie Wonder, Deep Purple, Mr. Big, Van Halen etc.

Hailing from a family of musicians, this group of three brothers bring with them their individual experience of working with sundry other artists and session players. When come together, their cumulative sense in music and taste in songs bring a unique energy and feel as they perform.

SIMPLE TRUTH TRIO

Ashton Vaz

He started singing at the young age of 16 and is currently the lead vocalist of the band Simple Truth. He was adjudged the best vocalist in the famous ‘Rock October Fest’ held in Delhi and in 2010 in the ‘Hornbills Fest’ Nagaland. His passion for music enables him to cover almost any singer in the world. He also renders his voice as the main vocalist in the various tributes like G&R, Michael Jackson, Queen and Bon Jovi.

Apart from this, he is also singing with the band called Shockblast which is an international project with all original content.

Aveleon Vaz

He has studied with several premier drummers in Delhi and Goa. Started playing professionally at early age. He is a permanent member of Groove rock band Five8, Think Floyd and Simple Truth and has done sessions with a wide range of musical ensembles including Artists Unlimited, Adi and Suhail, Faridkot, Bollywood Singer-Shilpa Rao, Grammy-nominated sitar player-Shujaat Khan etc. He teaches at One World College of Music and Sri Aurobindo Centre For Arts And Communication as visiting guest faculty

Ashley Vaz

He started his musical journey at the age of 12 and has been playing keyboards professionally for the past 28 years.He is a graded pianist from Royal School of Music, ABRSM.

H.O.D of Performing Arts at a reputed school in Delhi for last 18 years now, he is the prime composer and music arranger for Shockblast amongst many other artists. He has also done session work with a few foreign acts and some Bollywood artists. He is an active member of the Delhi-music fraternity and has also composed jingles for DLF, pan India, and many multi national companies. He has also done background music for various documentary films too.
