Create with just a few simple, cheap materials!
In this class we'll be exploring some of the most basic materials and techniques used to create different types of paper maché objects

While the techniques are relatively simple and designed to introduce you to the range of possibilities of this wonderful material and get your imagination working!

As per 2019 India Today report, India produces 1.50 lakh metric tonnes of solid waste on a daily basis. This waste is very poorly managed which contributes to rising pollution levels and climate change adversely affecting human and animal lives.

The government of India recently took a decision to ban single-use plastic with effect from 1 July 2022. The rules mandate to segregate waste at the source into dry waste like plastic, tin, glass, paper and wet waste like kitchen waste etc., The challenge now is to recycle the dry waste, in fact much of this dry waste can be reused and by upcycling such waste like cloth, paper, glass, plastic and cardboard etc. By doing so we not only reduce pollution but also conserve millions of gallons of water which goes into the making of this dry waste.

In 2017, we started GreenBlueLife, in which we work to reuse the solid waste by converting this waste into beautiful and utility products, which will make our country environmentally more sustainable. In order to accomplish this, there is need to spread awareness about how
to reuse solid waste and provide different ways to up-cycle it.

The Objectives of our organisation GreenBlueLife are-
• To provide knowledge of how to up-cycle solid waste and convert it into valuable utility products and thereby promoting a circular economy
• To network with schools/colleges/organizations/corporates/NGOs to conduct workshops for teaching how to convert solid waste into beautiful utility products

To achieve the above objectives, we have already organized various workshops and participated in many exhibitions.
