Event Description: Disciples of Guru #Janmejoysaibabu invite you to a one day event celebrating a traditional #martialdance form: #MayurbhanjChhau.

9:30 AM - TRAINING SESSION with senior dancers,

12 PM - PANEL DISCUSSION with renowned scholars and Gurus from both Delhi and Mayurbhanj,

7 PM - PERFORMANCES by various Chhau artists.

Learn, experience and discover the beauty, the thrilling moves of this art form, learn about its theory, its past, its future, and witness mesmerizing exponents. Workshop for experienced practitioners, intermediate and true beginners!!! For dancers of all styles, for theatre artists.

The fascinating group, duet, and solo traditional choreographies of this art dynamic, #martial and #semiclassical dance form of #odisha by mesmerizing exponents.

The event is organized by Gurukul Chhau Dance Sangam, a teaching center and performing unit dedicated to the preservation, promotion and evolution of Mayurbhanj Chhau based in Delhi under the guidance of Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Guru Shri Janmejoy Sai Babu.
