Event Description: Ekaant - Based on stories written by Nirmal Verma
Ekaant is the dramatization of two critically acclaimed stories - "Dedh Inch Oopar" and "Dhoop ka Ek Tukada" written by Nirmal Verma.
Dedh Inch Oopar is a story of a graceful old man who is searching for some answers about his wife since last fifteen years. She was shot dead by Gestapo Police as she got caught as a traitor, however, he could never discover her body and hence he's been living in a dilemma since then. The play is designed in a bar where he unfolds his story to a stranger identifying some secrets about his wife. What are these secrets? Come and know in our play.
Dhoop Ka Ek Tukda is an engaging story of a lady who one day realizes that there is something wrong with her life as she has stopped feeling her husband whom she had left and moved to a different city later on.
The plot is based on an intriguing conversation with an old man in a park in France where she took him on a roller coaster journey to all the good and bad of her life.
The protagonist is lonesome yet a cheerful character who doesn’t have any regret of her past.
This adaptation will leave a mind-boggling impact as the end is not what you are expecting!
