Adhoore Panne is a tribute to Mohan Rakesh – a life cut short. Actor-Poet Kanika Aurora examines Mohan Rakesh’s literary genius and his creative process through a nostalgic journey into his inner worlds based on his journals and letters.
The author and playwright pioneered the ‘Nai Kahani Movement’ in Hindustani Literature; his remarkable works offers unapologetic and candid revelations of human frailty, while his dramatic artistry chronicle a full life with all the emotional and social risks it entailed – a life shared with his wife and fellow-writer Anita Rakesh.
The show is conceptualized and performed in Hindi by Kanika Aurora, distinguished actor and director.
This show is a benefit performance for Anita Rakesh towards her medical treatment.
