Event Description: MUSIC: Aneesha & Denis
Aneesha Dass and Denis Thomas have an ever-expanding and evolving set list which covers genres of jazz, pop, R&B, soul and funk. Their covers have unique arrangements and they focus on adding and playing with different harmonic elements and guitar grooves. Their sets can be curated and modified according to mood; from mellow to soulful to upbeat and interactive. They also perform Aneesha's unreleased original compositions for specially curated events.
They have performed in multiple venues across the City including TPM Cafes, Magnolias Sports Bar, Fat Lulu's, Together at 12, Quorum, Foxtrot, The drunken Botanist to name a few. They recently had the honour to perform at the United States Embassy of India, at the Ambassador's residence - The Roosevelt House for a private party thrown by him. They continue to have upcoming performances lined up; pub gigs, private launches and private parties.
About Aneesha Dass:
A singer-songwriter and producer, Aneesha has been singing since preschool. Having explored a career in Psychology, all the while being a part of acapella/choir groups through school and then at the prestigious LSR Western Music Society, Aneesha realised music was her true calling. Focused on producing/writing and composing her own original music, performing gigs on stage and continue working towards her musical goals, Aneesha aims to tackle her goals from all directions. She loves performing and getting a crowd going with her cover sets and loves working on presenting known songs in different unique arrangements and harmonic structures.
She has two releases of covers done her way out on all streaming platforms. She is working on her original music, is a part of the Neemrana Music Choir and has an original multi-instrumental performance duo set in preparation with a fellow musician; Avik Roy.
About Denis Thomas:
A guitarist and vocalist, Denis Thomas, the son of a church choir director knew from a young age that music was in his blood. Denis is a young college-going musician with extremely fine precision on the guitar, and a growing love to perform. Currently, Denis enjoys working on harmonic structures with Aneesha and smooth guitar grooves which always attract audiences to his music.
