Event Description: Dragery Takes The Floor: S.A.S / Ouissam / Rifain

Started in July 2019, Dragery is a "coming together" of people as a close community, to explore gender, identity, desire, through the form of Drag. We think it’s important for us to reflect upon our phobias, misconceptions, and interpretations of gender, sexuality, queerness, identity and performance among other things. It’s also important for popular culture to find a balance in sensitive representation and provide an opportunity to diverse bodies in the drag scene. 
“Dragery Takes the Floor” challenges representation of drag in India and hopes to push for more queer visibility in mainstream nightlife. The performance of Dragery was a highlight of Magnetic Fields Festival in December 2019.
