Event Description: MUSIC: The Backyard Shrooms
The Backyard Shrooms (erstwhile Mufills), is a four-piece band based in Gurgaon. Formed in 2014, the drummer and the guitarist were in the same school, met through mutual friends, and ended up jamming and that kicked off the journey.
The band's sound is very diverse, it’s a journey. Blues & Funk sounds with Psychedelic elements & a tinge of Post Rock. Inspired by many great artists, the likes of which are Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steven Wilson, Radiohead, John Mayer Trio, David Gilmour, Kevin Parker and many unheard underground indie artists. Constant experimentation with sounds across genres without boundaries. Sometimes it’s perhaps difficult to give something a particular tag.
