Event Description: MUSIC: Dhruv & Jahnvi
‘Dhruv and Jahnvi acoustic duo’ are a versatile Duo cover that came about due to their mutual interest in jazz, blues and retro music. Their repertoire ranges from acoustic arrangements of jazz standards and blues tunes from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Janis Joplin, Etta James and more to retro/pop by Queen, Abba, Ben E. king, Adele.
Their unique approach to performance not only focuses on the music but also their presentation, which keeps the audiences enthralled from the get go. They have a wealth of experience having performed in numerous festivals, pubs and cafes, all over Delhi NCR region.
Line up - Female vocals, Male backing vocals and Acoustic guitar.
Jahnvi Rawat (vocals) : is proficient in multiple skills, apart from being a great vocalist, she is a terrific dancer, actor and entertainer. If not on the stage, you might have come across her work on Television commercials (subway, Nokia commercial w/ Alia Bhatt, etc.), musicals (by Theatreworm productions) or YouTube videos (on Hattke Channel). Her influences range from blues/retro to Hip hop/electronic music. She loves performing on stage and has been doing so for the past half a decade.

Dhruv Yadav (guitars and backing vocals): is a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, vocals and drums), with the Guitar being his preferred instrument. He is a theory buff with a great focus on technique and versatility. He has been playing the guitar for about 12 years, during which time he has covered a variety of songs belonging to metal, progressive rock, jazz, funk and the blues. Although he is a professional musician, he also works as an event producer (Eastwind Blackbox, Gurgaon), sound technician (musical called ‘Legend of ILA’) and a guitar teacher (School of Symphony, Lajpat Nagar) with the aim of having an all-round knowledge as well as practical experience in the music industry.
