Event Description: MUSIC: David Bressat Quintet

The pianist and composer David Bressat has been on the jazz scene for fifteen years now, in France as well as abroad. He has played with famous musicians such as Marcus Strickland (album recorded in 2011), Dave Liebman, Dee Dee Bridgewater, David Enhco… 

True Colors, the fifth album under his name, has been recorded live, which enables its audience to discover sincere and living jazz. This album is a genuine painting, without any faking, in which each composition is a tint and the whole set of them a myriad of colors. 

In this brilliant quintet, you will rediscover David Bressat’s faithful companions: Florent Nisse on double bass, Charles Clayettte on drums and Aurélien Joly on trumpet. ALIVE, the quintet’s former album has been noticed by the press and received these distinctions: “Revelation” from Jazz Magazine and “Elected” from Citizen Jazz.
