Event Description: Attempt to Murder, Stand-up Comic Act in English by Shreeja & Sumit

This show is Sumit and Shreeja’s attempt to cause comedic destruction by invoking violent laughter among their audiences – an attempt to murder silence. A few giggles will also do. 

About Sumit Sourav: 
Sumit hails from the small town of Jamshedpur. The rich cultural diversity of the town confused little Sumit and he has been trying to seek answers from comedy ever since. Winner of several stand-up competitions. Sumit’s recent debut was on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. "All absurd take of banal subjects" is how Sumit describes his comedy. Not stopping there, he has taken up a corporate job to supply him with just enough frustration to complete the package of an "angry damaged comedian". Been to various college's fest and corporate meets. From young college crowd to corporate professionals, Sumit has entertained them all. Versatile clean daily life's observational humour is what Sumit delivers with his amusing stories. 

About Shreeja Chaturvedi: 

Shreeja is a comedian from Mumbai, characterised by a straight face and animated hands. She has been active in the Mumbai circuit for over 2 years, as a comedian and occasional writer. She has opened for most of the top comedians in India at trial shows, one-hour specials, college fests as well as corporate gigs and received unexpected healthy cheers. Mostly known for limited facial muscle movement, her dream is to someday have her own concert where she jumps into the crowd after landing a punchline, with crowds screaming her name and coming at her with bare chests to etch her name on.
