Event Description: Guy Buttery is a South African musician known for his ingenious guitar work. Buttery collaborates with homegrown tabla artist Amjad Khan to present an hour-long set peppered with some solo acts. Inspired by the traditions of South Africa, Buttery's music blends the mbira, gospel singing & Zulu folk music. The melding of South African harmonies with Indian percussion makes for an ambient, meditative & organic evening of intermingling cultures.
