Event Description: MUSIC: Giants of Jazz 2019: GMI Faculty & Friends

About GMI Faculty & Friends (Global Music Institute): 
GMI faculty & friends is a group that features Eleonora Bianchini (Italy) on vocals, João Bittencourt (Brazil) on piano, and Subharaj Ghosh (India) on guitar. They will be accompanied by Delhi’s popular live musicians Siddharth Jain on drums & Kabir Agarwal on bass. This eclectic quintet will feature a mix of modern jazz, Brazilian/world music and also features some of their original compositions. The performances will have a special guest feature performance by Aditya Balani on the guitar. 

Background: Giants of Jazz is the flagship festival of The Piano Man. Entering its fifth edition this year, Giants of Jazz 2019, brings to you a global roster of artists across 12 days of continuous programming. This November 26-December 8, you are invited to be a part of this living, breathing venture where fans of all types rub shoulders with connoisseurs of jazz in a form that is unadulterated and one of its kind.
