Event Description: Kala Sakshi, Group Exhibition & Annual Mentoring Workshop
Brief: Kala Sakshi Memorial trusts are hosting its group exhibition and annual workshop at Sanskriti Kendra, Anandgram. It will conclude with a display of artworks, created in the four-day workshop, by the participants from all over India. Kala Sakshi has been nurturing young students from art colleges and universities, from across India, representing multiple media: painting, prints, mixed media, sculptures and installations. On the final day of the workshop winners will be awarded for the Kala Sakshi art scholarship.
This is a great opportunity for the students to be guided by and interact with eminent figures in the field of arts. Participants work under the mentorship of the artist Kavita Nayar, the founder of Kala Sakshi Trust. The workshop and exhibitions provide them with a platform to showcase their art and give them a space to meet leading artists, curators and critics.
