Event Description : Thursday Live ft. The Iyer Project

The Iyer Project founded by Ananth, Ashvin & Chandra are South Indians born and raised in Delhi. They play Alternative Carnatic Rock -blending in elements of Indian classical music with Hard Rock.

Their Influences include a wide range of influences ranging from traditional Carnatic music to metal and prog artists such as Lamb of God, Dream Theatre and Metallica. The setlist for the particular day will have all the songs from their latest album "The Epiphany of Being Sane" along with a few of their older compositions as well as some really fresh music. The songs are vocally charged, full of carnatic slurs on the electric guitar interspaced with heavy riffs and explosive drumming. The compositions have a lot of variation in terms of theme, time signatures, feel, tempo and language to keep the audience on their toes. The songs are in Hindi, English and some parts also have Tamil.
