Two years back amongst various other initiatives, Swarit Foundation initiated a series of its kind, i.e SMARAN (A concert series featuring Young Indian Classical Musicians & Dancers). Since then, its journey has been a source of hope as well as encouragement for many upcoming young performing aspirants to showcase their taleem & sincerity towards their gurus.

This series not only just finds the hidden prodigies & talent of our Nation but also provides platform for the emerging & genuine music practitioners of Indian Classical Music. It also spreads the belongingness towards our rich culture amongst the Youth & Masses with great visibility and reach. As this concert series happens ONCE in EVERY TWO MONTHS, the 'Smaran Series' is regularly witnessed by many Young Students, Musicians, Enthusiasts, Corporates, Respected Dignitaries and Eminent Gurus & Artists from all over and now is a series of National as well as International repute.

Whenever a saadhak steps on performing stage, he/she remembers & recollects the teachings, the lessons that was been taught by Gurus and thank the almighty for pouring such a blessing on him/her. By taking inspiration from it, SMARAN - as the name says Recollection, Recall, Retention, Remembrance, is dedicated to our Gurus and Guru-Shishya music tradition.

This series is committed to give platform & livelihood to the genuine music & dance practitioners to make our young generation realize the belongingness, purity & richness of our music tradition and to motivate them to understand the importance of carrying forward it as a self, as well as a social responsibility in view of protecting our Indian Music Tradition.
