About Arunava Shonai Chatterjee: 
The ever-evolving Shonai enjoys his musical life as a performer, educator, composer and arranger. Born in a musicians’ family in Kolkata, Shonai had got introduced to various genre of music in his childhood. He started his training by learning Tabla and then moved to Piano in 1996. He has done Grade 6 in Classical Music in Piano from Associated Board of Royal School of Music and Grade 8 in Jazz Piano from London College of Music. Shonai studied Jazz till the advanced level by himself with the help of a few world class Jazz musicians. In his 20 years of performance life he has worked in every possible situation from solo to duet and from bands like trio, quartet and Quintet to Big Bands. Shonai being predominantly a contemporary and jazz Pianist has worked with Jazz stalwarts like Mr.Carlton Kitto, Mr.Andrew Gracias, Mr.Lewis Hilt, Mr.Marcus Dengate, Mr. Clive Huse to name a few. 

About Malini Banerjee: 
Known for her powerful pipes and smokey timbre, Malini is an artiste who cuts across various genres. Trained in Hindustani Classical music for 9 years, she is equally adept at singing jazz & thumris. She started out as an 18-year-old greenhorn and reached the Top-14 of Fame Gurukul, one of the first music reality shows on Indian television. But she chose to focus on a career in the media industry at the time and went on to work as a television producer, and later as a sports media & PR professional. After stints at DNA, NDTV, UTV, Atlético de Kolkata, and Delhi Dynamos FC, Malini decided to hang up her corporate boots and switched tracks to music, her first love. Living and working in Bombay, she sang in Hindi & Bengali films, TV shows, and jingles. But, the urge to work independently made her look for an environment conducive enough and that brought her to Calcutta.
