Event Description : Indie Folk with The Mooner ft. Rachit Gaur & Shikhar Choudhary 

Rachit Gaur, is a part of the project called, " The Mooner ". They are a folk outfit based out of Delhi. The past 7 years of his life has been spent building a collection of songs that have been kept in view for public notice on SoundCloud and YouTube. 

Shikhar Choudhary, Rachit’s accompanist, is a guitar player from Bhopal and together they make up the sound that is "The MOONER". 

Song writing has been at the heart of Shikhar’s body of work, old worldfolk traditions guide most of his melody structure. But at the core of this creative outlet , is the sole purpose of chronicling the human condition to the best of his capacity. He can trace the beginning of his travels to age 14, when he first discovered the music of Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Peete Seeger and other folk singers of that era. Rachit picked up a guitar and learned to play it on his own.
