EYM Trio is the perfect balance between terrific rhythms and beautiful harmonies. Playfulness, sensitivity in the sound is what is striking with EYM Trio, keeping public spellbound. They go up on stage and suddenly time stops...  

EYM Trio is a band born of the meeting between pianist Elie Dufour, double bassist Yann Phayphet and drummer Marc Michel in 2010, in France. Quickly, they created a strong repertory including personal compositions, covers and ethnic music (Jazz with colors coming from North Africa, Bulgaria, Romania, India, and a lot of other parts of the world).  

Thanks to this claimed mix, EYM creates a very personal and captivating universe, respecting the masters of jazz history, recognizable from the very first chords and inviting the public to a trip. They improvise around many aesthetics.
