On August 15, 1947, India got independence from United Kingdom. Since India celebrated its first Independence Day, Russia, legal successor of the then the Soviet Union was one of first nation to welcome India's independence. Russia is India’s oldest , tested and trusted partner since its independence.
Post-Independence India has seen many changes including its role in the international arena. Since, this is the first Independence day celebration of new government formed after 2019 elections , what reforms and developments are expected from new government to contribute? How Russia and India relation helps in India’s development ? How cooperation between India and Russia are bringing changes in International Arena, be it BRICS, SCO or the UN?
