Event Description :
Teamwork Arts presents "Under the Banyan Tree on a Full Moon Night Season 4 August Edition"
Enjoy soulful performances by Goa-based singer-songwriter Ditty, who sings Earth songs, and Hindustani classical vocalist, Nirali Kartik.

Specially Crafted Soirees where the moonlight and music will blend to recreate the poetic charm of traditional musical gatherings.

Ditty is a Goa-based singer-songwriter who sings Earth songs. She works as an urban ecologist during the day and a musician at night. As a singer-songwriter and poet, her performances combine music with experimental spatial experiences and have ranged from performances in small tight basements with visual projections to concerts in a walking garden, and a ‘Streets For Us’ busking tour in Nepal, India and Sri Lanka, which explored how art can be used to transform and reclaim the streets. Ditty's debut album, Poetry Ceylon, released in June of 2019.

Nirali Kartik is a Hindustani classical vocalist from Mumbai. A recipient of the Shreshtha Sadhak Award by the Gujarat Sangeet Natak Academy and the Guru Gangadhar Prashan award, Nirali represents the venerable tradition of Indian Classical music. Her strong dedication to the perfect riyaz, her mellifluous voice coupled with a strong vocal technique, has seen her perform at some of the biggest stages in Indian Classical Music, like Saptak Music Festival, Tana Riri Festival, National Music Festival, Meru Concerts, at the India International Centre and the India Habitat Centre and many more. Nirali is currently developing her technique with Mewati Gharana maestro Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar in Pune.
