Event Description : Living Room Collective presents Footnotes, Hinglish comedy Play

Footnotes is the story of three lifelong friends Sameer, Madhav and Alvin of an amateur theater group Fun2shh. When Sameer buys a revolutionary script for them to perform in a theater festival, Madhav is shocked by the content of the script, or rather lack of it while, Alvin, the third member of the group, acts as a disastrous mediator. When the argument ensues from a critical dissection of the script moves toward an unraveling of personal constraints, each of them are forced to question not only the purpose of the theatre group but their friendship itself.

The Living Room Collective is a Delhi-based independent theatre group comprising of working professionals, amateur dramatists and theatre-makers. Having practiced theatre for the past 6 years at collegiate level and with other independent theatre groups, Living Room Collective is their endeavor to tell contemporary stories spread across the spectrum of our modern condition with plays born out of a living room. Members of the group have extensive experience of working with theatre companies like QTP, Kaivalya Plays to name a few, having previously performed at prestigious youth theatre festivals like Old World Collegiate Theatre@IHC, Atelier Theatre Festival and won laurels at educational institutions all across the country like IIM Ahmedabad, BITS Pilani & Goa, St. Stephens and others.
