Event Description : Adi Theatre in association with Social and Alliance Française de Delhi presents an exclusive show with three great French plays translated into Hindi. A festival of theatre lovers and proponents of the arts. The plays on display will be:
1. Le Malade Imaginaire: The problems of the society are exhibited juxtaposed with the behaviour of a hypochondriac.
2. Les Femmes Savantes: Henriette and Clitandre, are in love, but in order to marry, they must overcome the attitude of Henriette's family.
3. L'Avare: A play showcasing the classis conflict between love and money
About ADI Theatre : Adi Théâtre (founded in 1981) is one of the oldest theatre troops of Delhi. Being the only multilingual group (performing in French, Hindi, English and even Tamil), and a great variety of authors, from Molière to Boris Vian, the most eloquent to the utter silent.
After having toured the whole nation and various venues across the border, Adi theatre is now on a tour, commencing in Delhi from January- February 2019.
