Event Description : MUSIC : Ownage presents Möd3rn (Live) & Irfan Rainy
The training Möd3rn is the alchemy between three talents of the current techno, Electric Rescue, Maxime Dangles and Kmyle; The first is a mainstay of the French scene and boss of his own label Skryptöm and radiates with his nights PLAY or residences at the Rex Club in Paris; the second went on releases (Kompakt, Skryptöm) and collaborations with the biggest, from Moby to Green Velvet; While the third gradually imposes its mark on labels such as Clergy and Skryptöm and is solo one of the most popular artists of his generation. Today, Möd3rn triumphs thanks to the six expert and daring hands that express themselves within a common entity, for authentic and authentic lives with ethereal, synthetic and unique essence. Fueled by three passionate and mature worlds, Möd3rn is a winning combination and proli. An energy that is both brutal and sensitive emerges from this scholarly and innovative formation that also finds refuge in an eponymous label, which already has 9 EPs and now an album, all successful, projecting them on the scenes of the most coveted clubs ( Rex Club, Le Sucre, La Geode, Arena Club in Berlin, The Bridge in London, Gare Porto, Morse NYE in Amsterdam) and the must-see electronic festivals (Astropolis, Panoramas, Scopitone, Nordik Impakt).

IRFAN RAINY
A collector of groove music since 1986, the sound heard on the hip radio stations, record shops and clubs of Manchester ( my birthplace ), a place I marketed simply as THE RAINY CITY since 1990 when I started deejaying on the club circuit in the city and more so with my label RAINY CITY MUSIC since 1996. I've spent the last twenty years making Roots House Music, Deep Tech/ Tech House, Detroit influenced Techno, Jazz, Latin, Brazilian music, Funk, Disco, Jazz Funk, African Music, Indian Music, film type soundtracks and Electronica etc etc. I've programmed hundreds of events and deejayed in many spots worldwide with so many of the greats in groove music, for example, with Questlove - The Roots, Tony Allen - the Afrobeat king, Norman Jay - Mr Rare Groove/Boogie etc Orlando Voorn - Detroit Techno/ Hip Hop DJ, Seu Jorge - City Of God and lately with electro-funk maestro Greg Wilson amongst many many others of all styles to long to mention here. I live, breathe and create only the most artistic ofvibrations of groove music in a world full of mediocrity. My solo lp of Deep House/ Deep Techno is done and on the way, look out for the limited vinyl release 'Void The Void'. My other lp with long time partner CYRIL ' REX LEON ' is almost ready too and available in part from Traxsource and various digital stores. My new electronic project SERENTRADO will be available on VINYL in the very near future. My current ROOTS HOUSE MUSIC party COMMUNITY is there to show how dance music can and should be played with depth & variety. COMMUNITY is now 7 years old and previous guest DJ was NYC's Danny Krivit. I will start putting up my own music and not just my Dj mixes very soon. You are welcome to follow me and spread the vibe worldwide.
