Mad Orange Fireworks is a Bangalore based 4 piece rock band. They've been around for over 7 years and have released 2 albums. Currently with their 3rd album on the way, they are bringing their music 'Orange Rock' to the city of Delhi. Come and experience a taste of this eclectic sound on the 23rd of Feb in the afternoon.
About Mad Orange Fireworks:
Is an orange orange because it is orange or because it’s an orange? Orange is always interesting, it’s eternally quirky and a whole lot fun. Our sound and song, in our opinion, is the sound that orange evokes. It’s essentially a blend - a juncture where pop, blues, jazz, funk and rock meet. We’ve come to call the experience ‘Orange Rock’
Since 2011, Orange Rock has been spreading like wildfire. With every gig, our fanbase has been growing - at home and in other cities in India. We've successfully wooed Bangalore, having headlined at all its major live music venues and clubs. We also have, and still do occasionally tour Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune and Cochin.
As our name suggests, we try and bring our metaphorical fireworks on stage - it's usually an energetic, fun and original show. We've managed to capture the hearts and minds of most of our listeners (we have some pretty die-hard fans), and we also have our own 'orange' renditions of many popular songs - something our fans can enjoy singing along to. We've covered songs from The Who and Michael Jackson to Britney Spears and Bruno Mars. We have also performed tribute shows to bands like The Doors, The Beatles, Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters.
ORIGIN
Mad Orange Fireworks is a four piece rock band based out of Bangalore - With an origin story, to boot.
In 2011, Michael Dias, a frustrated software engineer, decided to follow a higher calling - to becoming a rockstar. He quit his lucrative job and scouted the city to find right musicians to start off his band, already with a song bank in his head. Along the way, he met Kaushik Kumar and Shravan Bendapudi (ex- drummer), two wayward souls, like himself, and formed Mad Orange Fireworks. And the rest, as they say, is a Hollywood montage.
Mad orange fireworks is known for its originality, musicianship and stunning stage presence. Currently with Dharvish PK on drums and Ramanan Chandramouli on lead guitars, the band has played and wowed audiences in cities all over India, and continues to actively perform and tour all over the country.
