They are also mothers running homes and looking after children at the same time trying to keep the work life balance. Zarine Khan is a celebrated Interior Designer specially in the Bollywood Circle. She has to her credit Designer homes for celebrities which she has been doing for last several years.
Her Daughter Sussane Khan, also a celebrity Interior Designer from Bollywood has a Arts Degree in Interior Design from Brooks College and has founded and introduced The Charcoal Project, India's first and most unique design concept store.
Padma Sri Sunita Kohli is the President of K2INDIA. She is a research-based interior designer, a reputed leader in historical interior architectural and architectural restoration and since 1971, a manufacturer of fine contemporary and classical furniture.
Sunita Kohli’s daughter Kohelika Kohli is an architect, from the ‘Pratt Institute of Design’ in New York and has started her own architectural practice, ‘Kohelika Kohli Architects’. In 2010 she established ‘K2India’ with her mother, Sunita Kohli, an award-winning interior designer, conservationist and furniture manufacturer. Kohelika Kohli is the CEO and Creative Director of K2India. She is a Trustee of the Museum of Women in the Arts, India.
Shahnaz Hussain is the founder, chairperson & managing director of The Shahnaz Husain Group. Shahnaz Husain has received international acclaim for pioneering the Herbal beauty care movement and taking the Indian herbal heritage of Ayurveda worldwide.
Nelofar Currimbhoy , Shahnaz Hussain’s daughter is now the President of the Shahnaz Husain group of companies. She has taken the business forward and has also recently unveiled a biography Flame: The story of her mother “Shahnaz Husain”.
