About the band : Emenes is a live act dabbling in classic genres like funk, rock, blues and all the others that come in between. An idea developed by the erstwhile acoustic duo of Mukul Jiwnani and Shenjit Basu, Emenes aims to provide the perfect balance between good music, energetic live performances and a vibe that everyone can relate to. With artists influences that include Led Zeppelin, John Mayer, Eric Clapton and Red Hot Chili Peppers, they also indulge in the electro-funk brilliance of artists like Michael Jackson and Daft Punk.
Emenes' new track, Toothbrush, is the culmination of all these influences along with a modern mentality that is a teaser towards the direction their music will take in the future. A heavy synth-bass combination coupled with breezy, seamless vocals of the two members, Toothbrush is an example of things to come.
