Event Description : POETRY / MUSIC "Moonlit: Poetry And Music" by Jalabala Vaidya and Kanika Aurora

MOONLIT is an enchanting evening of  English poetry and music performed by Jalabala Vaidya and Kanika Aurora. The poetry is as varied as Rumi, Haruki Murakami, Rilke and Emily Dickinson, along with Irish poet-novelist James Joyce, Pulitzer Prize-winning American poet Mary Oliver and of course, Rabindranath Tagore. The verse is interspersed with music: Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s Nocturne 9, Claude Debussy’s Clair De Lune and Franz Liszt’s Liebenstraum. Of course with the Moon as the theme, Love and Dreams are bound to follow, and Dhruv Shetty will sing some suitably romantic songs.
