Join us for a lip-smacking and authentic Nizamuddin lunch, made with warmth and sincerity, hosted by Zaika-e-Nizamuddin (ZeN). The lunch will be followed by an interesting session of the traditional 'kabutarbazi' (pigeon flying) hosted by Sair-e-Nizamuddin, a Nizamuddin based heritage walk group.
Zaika-e-Nizamuddin is a women enterprise adept in making the authentic cuisine of Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, a 700 year old living heritage. It is the flavour of Nizamuddin, served to you by a group of women on an inspirational journey from being housewives/domestic helps to professional chefs and entrepreneurs.
Every meal in our bawarchi-khana is cooked from the scratch (no refrigeration!!), with utmost care and professionalism in safe and hygienic working conditions.
About the organisation -
Zaika-e-Nizamuddin and Sair-e-Nizamuddin are Self Help Groups supported under the Nizamuddin Urban Renewal Initiative of Aga Khan Foundation and Aga Khan Trust for Culture.
