Event Description : THEATRE "Spirit of the the willow tree" Play by Anant Dayal 

This is the story of a young man and his deep, abiding concern for a grand old willow tree. Around this is woven a tale of man & nature, dreams & spirits, rashness & wisdom, greed & grace and loss & love. The original story belongs to a collection of Japanese folk tales and has a hauntingly beautiful quality to it. 

In this version, details have been reworked and the story expanded, with every effort made to keep the essence of the original intact. Told through speech, rhythm & music and played on the piano accordion, this one is not to be missed.
