A magical, musical Saturday evening with Álvaro López Melgar and Parvati M. Krishnan, that's the plan for 11th of August as they play their jazzy and bluesy act, 'A night in Brasil by Lopez & Krishnan' :D
Bio:
Álvaro López Melgar began his musical career at the age of 11 years old under the tutelage of a notable flamenco guitarist. Later studied at the "HardRock School" and "La Creativa", one of the most important Modern Music Schools in Spain.
Álvaro López Melgar plays everything from Classic to Rock music; an extraordinary artist with a command of many styles and moods, most of all Brazilian and Jazz music.
He has performed with numerous bands such as Gypsy Swing "Carromato G.S.", the rumba fusion band "Alpargata" based in Spain and also the famous Indian classic rock band "Half Step Down"; playing at the most emblematic venues of Spain, Ireland and India.
Parvati M. Krishnan is one of the best singers of modern music in Delhi, arranging a lot of Jazz, Blues and Brasilian music concerts.
In the last years, Álvaro has created 2 big bands "La Buena Vista" and "Los Desheredados" in Madrid, and has played and toured the best halls and festivals in the country.
