Matilda and The Quest (M&TQ) is a 4 piece band based in Delhi, India. The band is a culmination of singer-songwriter, Matilda and Quest Productions, a house of music productions. Although new to the market as a band, the musicians are well seasoned with close to 10 years of experience in the music business which makes for a versatile and eclectic music style.
BAND LINEUP
MATILDA: Matilda is a singer-songwriter from Aizawl, Mizoram. She is the vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the band and started working as a freelance musician in Delhi from 2017.
MIKE JI: Mike Ji is the drummer of the band. He is a highly experienced musician with 10 years of professional experience as a drummer in the Delhi music scene.
KIMA: Kima has his roots in Aizawl, Mizoram and is the bassist of the band. In addition to playing bass, he also has exceptional skills in guitar and doubles as the lead guitarist of the band. He started his career in Delhi as a guitarist in 2012 and has been on demand in the scene as both a bassist and guitarist ever since.
Albert Peka: Also from the state of Mizoram, the keyboardist of the band, Albert Peka started his professional career in Delhi as a keyboardist in 2013. Besides working his magic on the keys for the band, he also takes over on the vocals from time to time.
