Event Description : POETRY : Rekhta Foundation presents "Shaam~e~Rekhta" Celebrating World Poetry Day

Held on March 21 each year, World Poetry Day is an initiative of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The day recognizes the unique ability of poetry to capture the creative spirit of the human mind and to appreciate and support poets and poetry around the world. 

To celebrate this day, Rekhta Foundation and Social are coming together to host a specially curated evening of poetry recitals, interesting anecdotes around poets and poetry, readings of the works of some great poets and much more. The evening will not only bring you closer to Urdu poetry but will also mark Urdu’s phenomenal outreach.
