Event Description : WORKSHOP of Vegetable Gardening by BNHS, CEC-Delhi

Ever wondered where your food comes from and what can be done with the waste? Want to learn how to grow your own kitchen garden in your very own backyard, balcony, windowsills or rooftops? Derive satisfaction seeing your seeds sprout, grow and yield fruitful results now. Have you tried composting of organic waste?

Gain experience in kitchen gardening and composting as practical solutions to deal with your daily organic waste at our daylong training workshop. This workshop will be conducted to enhance your capabilities to reuse waste in turn reducing garbage in landfill sites and preserving nature with the use of our lesser-known and valued friends- worms, cockroaches, woodlice and microorganisms. Our workshop would be on the basics of kitchen gardening and composting.

Activities include indoors and outdoors sessions on kitchen gardening, basics of composting and much more.
