A wistful evening of poetry readings in 8 regional languages selected for their reflections on love. Contemporary poets and writers offer their renditions of words penned by Tagore, Amrita Pritam and Habba Khatoon among others. Words that have named the anguish of separation in Bengali and captured the essence of a lover in Kashmiri. It seems, love is faithful to each one who writes about it; persisting in their unique terms of endearment, their peculiarities of punctuation and their soulful elocution. Daak creates a performance of poetry that forges listening, conversation and connections.
