Event Description :
FOOD FEST “Chatori Galliyan” presents Harrdy Sandhu

In an age where fast food, international cuisines and bizarre flavours have silently invaded our taste buds, especially of the younger generations, we are on the verge of losing our palate for the traditional Indian food. While the ever-alive streets of Old Delhi have somehow managed to keep the gastronomes interested in the richness and diversity of our classical Indian cuisines, the problem has always been of accessibility and not of availability – Old Delhi, that fabled nerve-center of Indian culinary excellence, has its own peculiar problems. Navigating its narrow lanes is tiresome, New Delhiites seldom pay a visit dreading the commute therefore remaining more-or-less unaware of the mouth-watering alternatives Old Delhi has on offer.
Chatori Galliyan cuts the problem both ways. By bringing the mouth-watering goodies to an easily accessible venue like Nehru Stadium, it creates an opportunity for the foodies to gorge on cuisines known and unknown while making sure the small and big eateries restricted to the bylanes of Old Delhi get a proper exposure and outreach thereby building a brand identity which spreads like wildfire through the good old word of mouth.

To create a lasting ambience and visitor engagement, the food and drinks festival would have the essential elements that are associated with the core identity of Old Delhi. Live Sufi music by renowned artistes, flash street performances, masseurs, traditional ittar and more are going to make sure that all senses are engaged and satiated.
