Aparna Chandnani, disciple of Guru Shrimati Sindhu Bhagia Mishra , is all to present her first ever solo bharatnatyam recital choreographed by her Akka ( Sindhu Ma'am).

The performance is an ode to Krishna. It illustrates how Meera, Radha and Yashoda long for Krishna. Versus have been taken from the poems of Meerabai , Surdas and other Saint poets . The concept and choreography is done by Smt Sindhu Mishra . The Music has been composed by Sudha Raghuraman. The first item is a Guru stuti in which meera is in search of guru , She is asking lord Krishna for a guru who would wade a path for her to reach eternal Krishna  . Followed by Allarippu in chatusra jati ( a traditional Bharatnatyam item ). Concept and choreographed by Smt Sindhu Mishra. Composed by - Sudha Raghuraman

The second item is “ Varnam “ which consists of jathis ( pure dance ) and abhinaya .Abhinaya’s portions have been taken from Meera ‘s poem. As this varnam is about meera’s love , bhakti  and passion for lord Krishna. Concept and choreographed by Smt Sindhu Mishra, Composed by - Sudha raghuraman

The third item is a traditional padam “ Krishna nee begane baro “ which means Krishna! Come quickly. This item portrays the sweet relationship between mother yashoda and krishna. The crux of this item is that the innocent mother Yashoda is worrying about Krishna, who himself is the saviour of the whole world. Concept and choreographed by Smt Sindhu Mishra, Composed by - Sudha Raghuraman

The fourth item is again a padam based on the sweet nok - jhok of Krishna and Radha.  Here, Radha is trying to explain to her mother that it is due the mischiefs of Krishna that she has reached home late. This piece is taken from surdas ‘s poetry.Concept and choreographed by Smt Sindhu Mishra, Composed by - Sudha Raghuraman
