Event Description : MUSIC : Rie One and The Neue Jazz Collective

A modern Jazz quartet, the Neue Jazz Collective, from Delhi, brings you music which blends traditional jazz with modern harmonic sensibilities. 
The Neue Jazz Collective began as a collaboration between pianist/composer Prabir Sekhri and guitar player Bhaskar Gurung. Having worked on a few new compositions together, the duo set out to find a rhythm section that would best compliment their vision for the music. Rahul Rai and Reuben Narain stepped in on bass and drums, respectively, to complete the quartet. 

Rie Ona 
A Saxophone and Clarinet player. Starting with piano lesson at an early age, she has been learning music throughout her life. 
She was a part of the School Brass Band,  after graduating college, she joined Jazz Big Band on saxophone in Jakarta and Tokyo. 

In India, she has actively collaborated with musicians, has experienced the music festivals throughout India, and have been playing for various shows such as Cosmopolitan fashion show, Designer brand launch, etc.
