A part of the 'Double Bill: Performances around Gender & Society', the evening promises 2 performances reflecting on gender equations, sexuality & popular culture.

Set on the timeless, iconic nazam from the 1976 film 'Kabhi Kabhi', the piece
TUJHKO BANAYA GAYA HAI MERE LIYE questions the warped codes of romance as seen in popular culture while capturing our
collective permissiveness towards ’chedkhani’ and how it contributes to gender related violence. 

WE... WOMEN II- TRIGGER WARNING converse between memory and history, 
where the concept of the body is constantly negotiating with digital landscapes and virtual images. 
It looks at 'gaze', desire and political movements through the lens of popular culture.
