Get ready for a week full of musical bonanza at The Piano Man Jazz Club with some stupendous artists, performing live each day. As this sensational week unwinds, you’re sure to start tapping your feet, so do drop by to witness some phenomenal performances.

Nikhil Mawkin- Sings the sad songs – Monday, 4th September’17
Nikhil Mawkin welcomes you to an evening of mellow music as he serenades sadness with his collection of some beautiful songs. Especially chosen to appeal to the longing, the nostalgia, the rejection, the broken heart. There are happy places galore for those who are joyful but in case joy seems a bit distant, you are not up to it, are feeling low or lonely or both and don't know where to go, then let Nikhil's sonorous voice and guitar give you company. They call out to those who want their pain to be shared. In hope, that they may not be able to change your mood but they'll surely be a friend to you.

Angad Katari – Tuesday, 5th September’17
Angad Katari is a Delhi based indie singer/songwriter, from being a drummer in the past to a singer/songwriter, he is now debuting with his Album Titled “LOST” soon to release and has released his first single titled “I loved you” along with the video on 11’th of Feb. Angad’s music has more of an acoustic feel to it.
Aditi Malhotra is an eighteen year old singer-songwriter who starts singing at the age of five. She was trained in Hindustani Classical Music for nine years, and alongside, developed a keen interest in various genres such as jazz, soul, RnB, blues and soft rock. She won a number of inter-school, state and national level competitions, and is now a student at Ashoka University and One World College of Music.
Birraj Taneja is a young and aspiring pianist based in New Delhi, starting off at the age of 6, He studied Western Classical Music under John Raphael (director at Delhi School of Music) and has firm roots in Western Classical Music while also studying Jazz and Indian Classical Music.
Makrand Sanon  is a versatile percussionist and a Performing Artist, who has been privileged to learn a wide range of instruments( starting from tabla, drums to djembe) and musicality throughout his journey, which began not less than 19 years ago, when he was 5. Makrand later trained in Indian Classical music at the Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh for a period of over five years. Followed by learning Electronic Music at A.R. Rahman lead K.M. Music Conservatory, Chennai for a year. 

Showcase – Wednesday, 6th September’17
Showcase, a four piece, was formed in the year 2009. Comprising of Nuno Gomes (Guitarist & Backing Vocals), Pankaj Bhuttan (Drums & Percussion), Immanuel Sanate (Bass and Vocals), and Moses Khiangte (Vocals & Acoustic Guitars), the band primarily identifies themselves as a classic rock band. 
They have some powerful originals, which when paired with some choice covers spanning several decades, make for one exciting set. Having played this set extensively in and around Delhi, the band is currently working on the final stages of production for some originals soon to be released. The band is being managed by Hammer Talents.

Mrs. Ippy Trio – Thursday, 7th September’17
Songstress Mrs. Ippi, who also goes by Ipshita Roy, is one of the well known performers from Delhi.
Having set foot in the music scene in 2009, she has constantly been evolving her voice and her
musicality through the various set ups she has previously been a part of.
Aditya Dutta is a professional drummer based in Delhi.Performing and collaborating as a sessions drummer in the Delhi independent music circuit for the past 1 year, He has actively played with Rainer pusch (Germany), Karan Khosla Trio, Aditi Dot., Ipshita Roy, Rythem Bansal, Rie Ona (Japan) and various other musicians and acts from the city.
Rythem Bansal is a professional pianist and educator based in New Delhi, India. He had successfully completed Grade 8 with merit in Piano from Trinity College of Music, London.Rythem has been a recipient of merit based scholarships from prestigious Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) for the Five-Week Summer Program; Delhi School of Music and Korean Cultural Centre.

Funkoffeenado – Friday, 8th September’17
The Funkoffeenado members are Smiti Malik (vocal), Loik Sanlaville (guitar), Ekaterina Aristova (double bass), Aditya Dutta (drums) and Fakhroddin Ghaffari aka Sina (percussions). 
The band was formed in the beginning of 2017 and is based in New Delhi. All the members are from different backgrounds and have been playing at Delhi's music scene with their own musical projects, and as session musicians as well. 
One day they met each other in the field of jazzy harmonics, funky bass riffs and exotic rythms of Iranian music. Finally the amazing voice of Smiti fullfilled this mix with a smooth light mood of evergreen melodies of jazz. 

The Latination feat. Sanjeeta – Saturday, 9th September’17
The Latination is one of the rare genuine Latin-jazz kitchen in the country, offering a tasteful and soulful menu by French and Indian chefs, cooking their very own recipe of one of the major ingredient in the history of jazz gastronomy. The Latination stirs the spicy savours of salsa and rumba with condiments of contemporary jazz, blending dance-compelling flavours of Afro pepper rhythms and strong, sophisticated harmonic aromas, topped with the sweet fragrances of Caribbean melodies. All steaming, pours a pinch of humour and serves hot! Sabroso!
Bijit Bhattacharya (bass guitar), Emannuel Simon (conga and percussions), Pradyumna Singh Manot a.k.a Paddy (keyboards), Premjit Dutta (timetables), are the talented members of the band.
Sanjeeta Bhattacharya is a Delhi based vocalist who graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Boston. She began her journey learning Hindustani Classical music for 8 years while simultaneously exploring sounds from the world over including jazz, RnB, bossa nova and even flamenco, during her time in college. She won numerous state and national level inter school western music competitions as a solo performer. 

Musician Mixers – Sunday, 10th September’17
Catch some of Delhi's finest jazz cats and some wonderful travelling musicians meet and converse in the universal language that is Jazz.
