Event Description : Hands On presents "Build-A-Periscope" Workshop for Kids.
Budding scientists build Periscopes to bend light rays and extend their vision beyond the line of sight! Often used by submarines, and also by would-be secret agents, these optical devices help peek over walls and look around corners. Kids perform exciting experiments to observe light as it bounces, scatters, reflects, and refracts. They not only understand how a Periscope works but also the science behind light.
