Event Description : THEATRE / DANCE "Tales from Two Countries"

‘Tales from two countries' is a one-of-a-kind artistic spectacle of visceral poetry, ethereal musical expression, the grace, poise and emotions of dance and some never-before-seen art forms by artists from India, South Africa and the USA. This unison, of different but complimenting arts and narratives, transposes onto the stage as a story woven in theatrical poetry, ballet, hip-hop and contemporary dance interpretation with live music accompaniment.  These spectacular tales from South Africa and India woven by the ensemble, transform into new paradigms where they propel hope, break notions and defy norms that separate individuals from the humanity around them.

The show will include Four Acts:
The Whistler Project, Divya Dureja Project, Darshan Uvhona-Projecting Gods and Black Boi Be
The Cast:

Xabiso Vili (Theatre Poet; South Africa), Divya Dureja (Performance Poet; India), Manola K. Gayatri (Poet; India/SA), Manu Sriram Kamath (The Whistler; India), Leah Raphael Curtis (Ballerina; USA), Prince & Crew (Hip-Hop dancers; India), Ankush (Pianist; India), Nawa Lanzilotti (Cellist; USA)
