Event Description : TALK "Confluence 2017" for budding women entrepreneurs and rural artisans
This 3 day event will be dedicated to budding women entrepreneurs and rural artisans from different walks of life and will provide them a platform to display their wares, demonstrate their skills and exchange designs and techniques through workshops, talking sessions, fashion shows and cultural programmes. The brain and spirit behind the Confluence 2017 is Smita Shrivastav and Arpana Agarwal.
About Confluence 2017 : Confluence 2017 pledges to create a hashtag for the budding women entrepreneurs. It is the centralized platform to talk about the ideas and visions as we bring together unification of skills and knowledge. An elevated platform for the Shakti, talking about GDP growth, technology, autism, business models, entrepreneurship, micro-enterprises. The 3-day long exhibition is all about crafting alliances with Craftswomen and artisans from states like Benaras, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand are scheduled to display their wares, demonstrate their skills and exchange designs and techniques.
The brain and spirit behind the Confluence 2017 is Smita Shrivastav and Arpana Agarwal.
Reckoning force Smita as a social entrepreneur and Make in India activist, knows the plight of unsung artisans. Putting her experience, she works hard to bring focus on the inebriated banter. Her shared love for crafts and handicrafts of India pledged her to build the bridge between the artisans and the connoisseurs. Smita believes in celebration of the triumph of undying spirit.
Arpana Agarwal has been majorly associated with Skill India and Make in India projects. Being a successful businesswoman, Arpana provides a radiant platform--Wonder Women Connect which empowers budding women entrepreneurs.
