Event Description : EXHIBITION "Trace" a group art show. 

Note by Parul Sing and Sarojini Lewis : Something tells us that within the scene of the present another reality is possible. Or a discovery of an unknown thought or construction can be made.
To find a trace one can look for an item, object or a word that refers to the past but does not overtake the present by introducing another possibility.
Similar to a moment in which we have a possibility to find a sign, but in a way more demystified  than a sign itself, that forms a clear demarcation or reference to the present. A visual encounter of a sign could be a demarcation on a path like a traffic board, a trace could be like the idea of a footstep that has been inscripted in sand on the same path. The sign and the inscription in a way have two different relationship to its context. Both are part of an observation system that could lead to something else but one is made by clear abstract marks and the other appears more organically and more hidden. The sign could lead to the observation of the inscribed hidden form but this is not always the case.
