Event Description : EXHIBITION "The Elysian Project" an art show of watercolour paintings on the theme, ‘Happiness’.

The exhibition is taking place at Cafe De Art, Connaught Place. Talking to media Megha Sharma, painter and organiser of the event said, “Art has been a very important part of my life. It’s every artist’s dream to conduct an exhibition of their work. The theme of the exhibition is ‘Happiness’. The paintings will depict the meaning of the word in many different ways. Happiness can be anything for anyone, a clear blue sky, a sunset, flowers, anything. So the paintings will depict different meanings of happiness. I want it to be motivation for the all the people who visit. It’s going to be a treat for the all the art lovers and I can vouch on it.” 
Speaking about the hurdles she faced in organising the exhibition she said, “I faced a lot of challenges to make it work, finances being the most prominent one. I did a fundraising campaign where I put up a poster on social media asking for work. I provided services like logo designing, poster designing and content writing. I was able to raise Rs 10,000. I am thankful to all the people who helped me.”

About Artist: Megha Sharma is a 20-year- old media student. She is completing her bachelor’s degree from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies. She likes to paint and write. She started painting in second year of college. Painting galaxies is her forte. She is also interested in advertising.
