Event Description : Atul Satya Koushik's "Kahani Teri Meri" Hindi Play starring Kiran Kumar.

Brief Synopsis : Kahani Teri Meri being told by veteran actor Kiran Kumar is based on two short stories penned by two of the most acclaimed story writers of Hindi literature in India - Munshi Premchand and Dharamveer Bharati. The play tries to capture the predicaments and complexities of human relationships, rooted in desires, weaknesses and human folly. While 'Kaaki', desires only to satisfy her palate, 'Gulki', has been ousted by her husband for bearing a stillborn and is fighting a silent battle for survival against her own people with a hump on her back. This play is performed with a comic tone and creates a quintessential rural environment on stage and since most of the city-people find their roots in villages in some way or the other, they feel directly connected to the play.

About the director : Atul Satya Koushik is an alumnus of Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC, Delhi) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds a degree in Law. In his early 30s, he has already written 12 full length theatre plays and produced and directed them with over 250 shows in different parts of India. He has proven his versatility by giving super hit theatre productions of different genres one after another. He is often credited for pioneering modern commercial theatre in Delhi, running many ticketed shows to full houses on trot and roping in celebrities in his theatre productions. His famous plays include Raavan Ki Ramayan, Chakravyuh, Wo Lahore, Draupadi, Kahani Teri Meri, Couple Trouble etc.
