Event Description : MUSIC 'The Middle of Nowhere' Live.

The Middle of Nowhere began as a busking project, hoping to bring music back to the Indian streetscape, performing at forts, city centers and other public venues. Besides being musicians, the members of the band are also architects, planners and artists and have attempted to use their understanding of space to take their music beyond the stage and closer to their audiences, setting up what they call a 'Nowhere Station' wherever they go. These 'Nowhere Stations' have been planted at a variety of alternative spaces such as on inter-city trains and neighbourhood rooftops, with the performances usually being intertwined with participatory art projects and installations. 


From there, the band has expanded into the popular landscape of music and is currently developing their first EP, tentatively titled Random Ecstasies.
