Event Description : MUSIC : Zubaan Concert

Here's yet another Zubaan concert at Stops! But it's never the same as the previous ones! 
This time, it's going to be a meeting of the earliest and the latest collaborators of Zubaan - Bhairavas, the indie band from from Dehradun, Purna from Delhi, and Kavish from Mumbai.

About the Artists  : 

1. Bhairavas is an indie folk fusion band from Dehradun that incorporates elements of Sufi and Indian classical music in their songs. Their music is also influenced by the regional songs of Uttarakhand. You can find more about them here: https://www.facebook.com/bhairavas/

2. Poornaprajna Kulkarni plays the Saraswati Veena, and has been doing solo recitals and concerts of his own. Looking for better portability, he has created his own musical instrument that he calls the 'Poorna Veena' for now.

3. Kavish Seth is an independent singer-songwriter who writes in Hindi/Urdu. As part of the founding team of Zubaan, he's been traveling all over the country and presenting his songs in all types of spaces and settings - from informal street performances to ticketed concerts at venues like Hive, Mumbai and Jugmug Thela, Delhi, from DIY events to organized public performances, and from small schools to premier college auditoriums like IIT Bombay, IIT BHU and MICA. He recently performed at the internationally acclaimed Sofar Sounds, for their Ahmedabad chapter. He's in the process of releasing his songs soon.
