Event Description : Penguin and the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library are organising the Vivekananda Lectures to launch the book "The Modern Monk".

Minister for Civil Aviation Shri Jayant Sinha will deliver the key note address at the event, and Shri Ram Madhav, the national general secretary of the BJP will deliver the guest of honour address on Swamiji's impact on the West. 

Dr. Kapil Kapoor, the renowned Indologist, and Prof. Y. S. Rao, Chairman of the Indian Council of Historical Research, will also be speaking at the event as will Tulsi Badrinath, the Vivekananda scholar from Chennai. 

Swami Shantatmananda, President, Ramakrishna Mission Delhi will be giving the inaugural lecture at the event, and Swami Samarpanananda, the bestselling monk of the Ramakrishna Mission will also be speaking at the event. 


Nehha Bhatnagar, the renowned Bharatnatyam danseuse will be performing at the event.
